Free Fringe shows add special shows in wheelchair-friendly venue

With its ancient buildings and ad-hoc venues, the Edinburgh Fringe can be notoriously difficult to navigate for comedy fans with mobility issues.

Now the PBH Free Fringe has come up with an idea to give disabled punters at least one chance to see some of its most successful shows.

The organisation is scheduling one-off performances of many comedians who normally play inaccessible venues into a room that wheelchairs can get into.

Acts including Lloyd Langford (pictured), Dominic Holland, Miranda Kane,  Stuart Goldsmith and Eleanor Tiernan will be doing the additional gigs at the Revolution bar in Chambers Street, in the city centre.

A full line-up of these free shows is here.
