Russell Howard to headline Teenage Cancer Trust night
Russell Howard is to headline this year’s Teenage Cancer Trust comedy benefit at the Royal Albert Hall.
The show will take place on March 20 – part of a week of events raising money for the charity that will also include Kasabian, Def Leppard and UB40.
Tickets for all the shows go on sale at 9am on Friday.
The full comedy night line-up will be announced later. Last year’s event was hosted by Romesh Ranganathan and featured Tom Allen, Seann Walsh, Russell Kane, Jo Brand, Kevin Bridges and Mike Wilmot.
The gigs are organised by The Who legend Roger Daltrey who said: ‘We’re now into our 18th year of Teenage Cancer Trust Shows at the Royal Albert Hall and in that time these concerts have raised well over £25 million, as well as giving the Teenage Cancer Trust a voice to educate the public about the special needs of this group within the NHS’.
