Three shows for US comic

American comic Iliza Shlesinger is to play three UK dates next year.

She will be at  Salford’s Lowry Theatre on April 16, London’s Queen Elizabeth Hall on the South Bank on the 17th, and Birmingham’s Glee Club on the 18th.

Earlier this year, Shlesinger  hosted her own late night talk show on America’s Freeform channel, while her first book Girl Logic: The Genius and the Absurdity, about friendship, singlehood and relationships, will be published next week

Originally from Dallas, she moved to Los Angeles and rose to prominence on NBC’s reality show Last Comic Standing, where she became the only female comedian to win the series

Tickets for her UK dates will go on sale at 10am on Monday.
