Netflix sees more of its Friends From College

Series two ordered

Netflix has renewed its comedy Friends From College for a second season of eight episodes.

The series features is about a group of friends from Harvard played by Keegan-Michael Key, Cobie Smulders, Annie Parisse, Nat Faxon, Fred Savage and Jae Suh Park facing their forties. 

Guest stars in the first series, which dropped on July 14, included  Kate McKinnon and Seth Rogen.

But the show has had cool critical reception. On review aggregate site  Rotten Tomatoes, the series has an approval rating of just 25 per cent.

The series was co-created by Nicholas Stoller, who directed  Forgetting Sarah Marshall,  and his wife, the writer Francesca Delbanco.
