Balham Comedy Festival announces 2017 line-up

South London’s Balham Comedy festival has announced its line-up for 2017, with acts ranging from Sara Pascoe to Joe Pasquale.

Jason Manford, Ed Byrne, Stephen K Amos,  Jeremy Hardy and  Joe Lycett are also among the comics unveiled for this year’s event, which takes place at The Bedford pub from June 29 to July 8.

The venue is the home to the Banana Cabaret at weekends, and the club’s promoter, Dave Vickers, has curated the festival with comedian John Moloney.

The festival is now in its sixth year and offers work in progress and Edinburgh preview shows, as well as ‘Best of Banana Cabaret’ line-up shows. Pasquale will be making his debut at the venue on one such show on July 7. Click here for the full line-up 

Tickets are due to go on sale from next Tuesday, with advance sales to newsletter subscribers from this Friday.
