First acts announced for London's ARG Festival
Including Sara Pascoe and Joe Lycett
Sara Pascoe and Joe Lycett are among the first of 60 comedians to be announced for London's ARG Comedy Festival.
The event – whose name stands for the Actually Rather Good Comedy Festival – will return for its sixth year this summer at Shoreditch Town Hall.
The event comprises Edinburgh preview shows, and Sofie Hagen, Ed Gamble, Nish Kumar, Angela Barns and Ellie Taylor are also among the acts confirmed today.
Festival director James Lowey said: 'Over the last five years, we've hosted 26 shows that went on to be nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Awards - an average of five every year! Each year our programme gets more diverse and more interesting and I'm very excited about this year's festival.'
