Two London dates for Dave Chappelle

Appearing alongside rap legend Killer Mike

Dave Chappelle has announced two London dates for next month.

The comic will be appearing alongside rap legend Killer Mike at the two gigs at the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith on December 2 and Fairfield Halls on December 4.

Tickets for the shows – entitled Still Talkin That Sh*t! – go on sale at 9am on Friday.

Killer Mike, who first came to prominence through collaborations with Outkast, has won three Grammy awards and is known  for his social and political activism, especially on social inequality, police brutality, and systemic racism.

He was the recipient of the first Billboard Change Maker Award, created to ‘recognise an artist that speaks truth to power through their music and celebrity’.

The news comes after it was announced that Chappelle would not be hosting the first Saturday Night Live after the US election, as he did in 2016 and 2020. Instead, this Saturday’s NBC show will be fronted by Bill Burr.

A press release announcing the joint tour gives little detail about the content, other than that it is a ‘fusion of music and comedy across a joint set’.

However, it goes into great detail about how the events will be a ‘phone-free experience’ with devices confined to pounces, and warning: ‘Anyone seen using a device (phone, smart watch, or accessories) during the performance will be escorted out of the venue by security.’

It also contains a lengthy legal statement saying ‘any jokes and sketches delivered during his performance… may not be copied, translated, transmitted, displayed, distributed, or reproduced verbatim (the "Use"), in whole or in part, in any form, media, or technology now known or later developed, without the express prior written Consent of [Chappelle’s company] Pilot Boy Productions, Inc' and warning of 'legal remedies' for 'anyone who violates this prohibition'.

John Bishop has added five new dates to his 25 UK tour - celebrating 25 years of stand-up - with new performances at Plymouth Pavilions (October 1, 2025), Liverpool M&S Bank Arena (October 25), Birmingham Utilita Arena (November 8) and  Swansea Arena (October 22 and 23).
