The comic and actor will be joined by his friends  Allan Lear and Paul Carmichael on the freewheeling show, Tony Slattery’s Rambling Club

Episodes have already been recorded with guests Robin Ince and Julian Clary, while Stephen Fry provides the narration.

Slattery said: ‘I’m very excited to be doing something I don’t totally understand on the internet.  All I can say is that I’m really enjoying these free-associating, totally unrehearsed conversations, and I hope you will too.’

The 64-year-old shot to fame improvising on Whose Line is it Anyway? in the 1980s and 199s, but his life fell apart as he battled addiction and bipolar disorder.

But several years ago, he made a return to public life with life appearances and the unflinching 2020 documentary examining his history of mental health problems.

The Rambling Club will be dropping every Friday at 9pm on Acast and available on all podcasting apps.
