Nick Mohammed announces new Mr Swallow tour

...but no roller-skates this time

Nick Mohammed has unveiled a new live show in the guise of his returns as his critically alter-ego Mr. Swallow.

He has announced a 24-date tour of his cheerfully irritating character from April to June next year, entitled Show Pony, following a UK tour and West End run of his greatest hits show last year.

Mohammed, who also stars in Ted Lasso and Sky comedy Intelligence, said: ‘Once bitten, twice shy! It is with the deepest pride that I subject the nation to another bout of Mr. Swallow. And this time, I won’t even be doing the whole thing on roller-skates!'

Meanwhile, Mr Swallow describes the show as ‘payback for everyone who didn’t come to the last tour’ and promises that it will cover ‘everything from not having his own sitcom to not having his own sitcom… and everything in between (critical race theory).’

Mohammed  can currently be seen as sprite Billy Blind in Sally Wainwright's Disney+ series The Ballad of Renegade Nell, and was recently in ITV’s Douglas is Cancelled on ITV alongside Hugh Bonneville and Karen Gillan.

Later this year, he will star alongside Bryce Dallas Howard and Orlando Bloom in Prime Video’s Deep Cover

Tickets for Mr Swallow In Show Pony go on general sale on Friday.
