Alan Carr’s Picture Slam to return

Game show now seeking contestants

Alan Carr’s Picture Slam is to return to BBC One for a second series.

The show averaged 3.3 million viewers in its Saturday teatime slot last year, peaking at 4.6million or its penultimate episode.

In it, contestants have to battle against the clock to identify as many pictures as they can to be in with the chance of winning the £10,000 jackpot.

The new series of ten 45-minute episodes will be filmed at Pacific Quay in Glasgow and applications for contestants are now open.

Picture Slam is made by Triple Brew Media, whose executive producers Ed De Burgh and Ben Shephard said in a statement: ‘Picture Slam’s fast-paced, play along nature combined with Alan’s unique blend of wit and humour, captivated audiences last year.

‘We can’t wait to get back into the studio and bring more Picture Slam to everyone.’
