Rachel Parris announces her biggest tour yet
Rachel Parris has announced her biggest live tour yet, with a new show entitled show Poise.
Mixing stand-up and song, the tour will play 34 dates between April and October next year.
She said: ‘I’m very excited to bring this show to places I’ve never performed before. This show is going to be a love letter to musical comedy – there’ll be stand-up, there’ll be satire, but I’m going back to where I started, at the piano singing funny songs.
’It’s what I’m best at, and I can’t wait to meet new audiences and persuade them to sing along.’
Parris’s profile has been boosted by her segments on The Mash Report and Late Night Mash, which she hosted for its last series, which have gone viral on social media.
Last year, she published her first book Advice From Strangers: Everything I Know From People I Don’t Know, while she is also a founding member of acclaimed improv show Austentatious, which currently has a weekly West End residency at the Arts Theatre, currently booking until July.
Tickets for most dates go on sale tomorrow morning.
