Paddy McGuinness announces first stand-up tour in eight years

Comic says he'll be 'running the gauntlet of cancel culture'

Paddy McGuinness has announced his first UK tour since 2016,

The comedian and TV host will perform 40 dates of his Nearly There show, starting in Blackburn on October 24 and including a show at the London Palladium.

McGuinness said: 'It’s been eight years since my last tour and there’s lots of things to laugh about. I’m looking forward to getting back in front of a live audience, along with running the gauntlet of cancel culture, click bait and fake news.’

The comic was a presenter of Top Gear, which was last month officially cancelled after 46 years following the crash that seriously injured co-host Andrew ‘Freddie’ Flintoff  last year.

McGuinness’s other TV credits include Phoenix Nights, The Keith and Paddy Picture Show and Take Me Out and in 2021 he published his autobiography My Lifey.

Tickets for the new dates go on sale on Friday – or click here to register for ‘presale’ tickets available on Thursday.
