With Nicholas Lyndhurst joining Kelsey Grammer

Paramount+ has released a  teaser for its revival of the Frasier – as well as the first image of Nicholas Lyndhurst in his new role.

In the new video, star Kelsey Grammer performs a new version the show’s theme song, Tossed Salads & Scrambled Eggs.

The teaser confirms the first two episodes will drop on October 12  in the US and Canada, and the following day everywhere else. New episodes will be released every Thursday.

The reboot sees Frasier starting a new life back in Boston, where Cheers! was set. There, he has 'new challenges to face, new relationships to forge and an old dream or two to finally fulfil'.

Lyndhurst plays Frasier’s old college friend turned university professor Alan.

The cast also includes Jack Cutmore-Scott as Frasier’s son Freddy, Toks Olagundoye as Alan’s colleague Olivia, Jess Salgueiro as Freddy’s roommate Eve and Anders Keith as Frasier’s nephew David.

Bebe Neuwirth will also guest star in just one episode, returning as his ex-wife  Lilith.
