LONDON: Hannah Gadsby brings her Body Of Work to the Theatre Royal Drury Lane for a one-off West End date. After a number of heavyweight shows, this promises to be ‘feelgood’ stand-up, focussing on her new life, successful and loved-up in America. Tickets. Review
LONDON: Elis James and John Robins present a live version of their popular radio format Made Up Games at the Bloomsbury Theatre, tonight, Wednesday and Thursday. The show will feature ‘special guests, low budget prizes and, if John has his way, a beer fridge on stage.’
LONDON: Barely out of the I’m A Celebrity… jungle and Seann Walsh is at the Soho Theatre for a week, performing a show about the aftermath of his much less happy experience on Strictly. Review of Seann Walsh Is Dead. Happy Now?
Wednesday December 7
LONDON: In previous shows, Mr Swallow - the irritating alter-ego of Ted Lasso star Nich Mohammed - has escaped from a locked tank of water and memorised an entire deck of cards. Now he’s back at the Soho Theatre with his distinctive musical retelling of Charles Dickens’ festive classic A Christmas Carol. He’s joined by regular cohorts Mr. Goldsworth (David Elms) and Jonathan (Kieran Hodgson) and ‘P&O Ferries lounge singer’ Rochelle Kelly. The show runs until Christmas.
LONDON: It sold out almost instantly, but Michael McIntyre is back at the Eventim Apollo with his Christmas Charity Show, this time in aid of the Trussell Trust food banks. The high-powered bill also includes Adam Hills, Romesh Ranganathan, Tom Allen, Darren Harriott and Judi Love.
Friday December 9
LONDON: Comedy funkster Jazz Emu has no lesser aim than using his ‘ pop for the emotionally stunted’ to make the whole world like him in his new show, You Shouldn't Have, which starts a nine-night run at Soho Theatre tonight. Review

MIDDLESBROUGH: The Big Mouth comedy club at the Town Hall offers two extremes tonight - the well-educated Fin Taylor and intimidating-looking Cockney Jeff Innocent. But both offer plenty to surprise - and amuse.
