Cast revealed for Sharon Horgan’s Bad Sisters

Comedy thriller coming to Apple TV+ this year

The cast has been revealed for Sharon Horgan’s upcoming Apple TV+ comedy thriller, Bad Sisters.

Joining the Catastrophe co-creator as the titular siblings are  Anne-Marie Duff  from Suffragette, Eva Birthistle (Brooklyn), Sarah Greene (Frank of Ireland) and Eve Hewson, Bono’s daughter who recently starred in Behind Her Eyes.

Others in the ensemble cast includes Dracula’s Claes Bang, Brian Gleeson, also from Frank of Ireland, Daryl McCormack from Peaky Blinders  and  Assaad Bouab, who was Hicham in Call My Agent!

Horgan has written the ten-episode show and is one of the executive producers, along with Clelia Mountford, her partner in the Merman production company.

Bad Sisters is described as a ‘delicious blend of both dark comedy and thriller’ featuring tight-knit siblings coming together after the  premature death of their parents

Horgan was recently cast opposite Michael Sheen in Best Interests, the new BBC drama from His Dark Material writer Jack Thorne.

Bad Sisters  is set to debut on Apple TV+ later this year, the first product of a first-look deal Merman has signed with the streaming service.
