THE STAND UP SKETCH SHOW: The programme that acts out stand-up routines returns for a fourth series, featuring gags from Finlay Christie, Joel Dommett, Felicity Ward, Babatunde Aleshe, Shane Todd, Nigel Ng, Helen Bauer and Steen Raskopoulos. ITV2, 10pm

LAZY SUSAN: Freya Parker and Celeste Dring’s sketch show - commissioned off the back of a 2019 pilot - helps relaunch BBC Three as a broadcast channel. Characters include Megan and Michaela who just ‘don’t want any drama’; and Sandrine, the ‘whimsical French woman, written by a man who’s never met a woman’. BBC Three, 10.15pm
TOAST OF TINSELTOWN: In this week’s episode, Toast (Matt Berry) signs up to star in a Western - but soon finds himself marooned in the desert. BBC Two, 10pm

THE MIND OF HERBERT CLUNKERDUNK: Australian comic Felicity Ward guest stars in the first of tonight’s double bill as Denim Jean - who loves denim and hates Herbert (Spencer Jones). BBC Two, 10pm
Thursday February 3
MURDERVILLE: Will Arnett leads this remake of BBC Three’s improvised comedy whodunit, Murder In Successville. He plays homicide detective Terry Seattle, paired with a celebrity guest star who has to investigate with no script to go on. Those taking part in this Netflix version are Annie Murphy, Conan O'Brien, Ken Jeong, Kumail Nanjiani, Marshawn Lynch and Sharon Stone.
THE RIGHTEOUS GEMSTONES: The second season of the comedy about a family of televangelists, comedy to the UK, just as a third series has been commissioned in the US. It was created, written by Eastbound & Down’s Danny McBride, who co-stars with John Goodman, Edi Patterson and Adam Devine. Sky Comedy, 10pm
Friday February 4
FAGS, MAGS AND BAGS: Sanjeev Kohli and Donald McLeary return for a 10th series of the sitcom set in a Glasgow convenience store. Radio 4, 11.30am
