Antivaxxer mob disrupts panto
Comedy magician Pete Firman has hit out at antivaxxers who disrupted his pantomime performance yesterday.
A group of anti-science zealots forced their way into the foyer of the Milton Keynes Theatre during the matinee performance of Jack and the Beanstalk.
Police were called to eject the crowd, and venue bosses said the group assaulted staff and families at the show
Firman, who plays Jack’s brother Simon, tweeted: ‘Anti-vaxxers disrupting the interval at our Pantomime today. Police had to be called to deal with it and forcibly remove them.
‘If your cause extends to terrifying young children and assaulting front of house staff, a vaccine is not your biggest problem.’
Shocking and disturbing for families!! Anti-vax protests are walking in at a kid's panto at Milton Keynes. Go to parliament for your opinions, not at a family place.

The venue issued a statement saying: ‘Although we respect the right to choose whether to have a vaccination, we rebuke the actions taken that saw our staff and patrons frightened and assaulted.
‘At a time when customers should be enjoying the fun and excitement of panto, it's sad to see the visit for our customers marred in this way. We praise the efforts of our staff this afternoon in what was a very difficult situation and thank our customers for their support.’
The intrusion was part of disruptions across Milton Keynes yesterday in anger at the life-saving vaccines.
Demonstrators, led by Piers Corbyn, stormed a test centre, with footage apparently showed a woman taking medical equipment and papers from the site.
Local Tory MP Ben Everitt said of the protest: ‘What a bunch of dickheads. Nobody deserves this at work.’
