Plus Champions of Champions special

The recording dates of the 13th series of Taskmaster have been set – including the next Champion Of Champions special.

Channel 4 has not yet revealed the line-up of the series, but with the studio sessions set for next month, an announcement is expected imminently lest it be leaked.

The contestants will by have now completed their tasks, and will find out how they fared against the others at twice-daily sessions at Pinewood studios in Buckinghamshire on September 16, 17 and 20-22. Fans can apply for free audience via Standing Room Only.

Before that, on the night of September 15, Taskmaster Greg Davies and his sidekick – and series creator – Alex Horne will preside over the Champion Of Champions show.

That will feature the winners of series 6 to 10: Liza Tarbuck, Kerry Godliman, Lou Sanders, Ed Gamble and Richard Herring.

Josh Widdicombe won the first Champion Of Champions in 2017, defeating other series winners Katherine Ryan, Rob Beckett, Noel Fielding and Bob Mortimer.

Series 12 of Taskmaster - which is expected to air later this autumn – has already been taped. It will feature Alan Davies, Desiree Burch, Guz Khan, Morgana Robinson and Victoria Coren Mitchell.
