Another topical comedy show made under lockdown conditions

The new series of Romesh Ranganathan’s topical discussion show The Ranganation is to be made under lockdown conditions.

His audience ‘focus group’ and two special guests will be connected to a makeshift home studio in the comic’s garage via video link.

The show returns to BBC Two this Sunday with guests over the six-part set to include Danny Dyer, Aisling Bea, Freddie Flintoff, Mel Giedroyc, and Jon Richardson.

His ‘Ranganation’ will again include mum Shanthi alongside personalities categorised as 'privileged', 'small town girl’, ‘never voted’ and ‘wheeler-dealer’, among others

It follows other topical programmes such as The Last Leg, Have I Got News For You and the Mash Report in being made remotely from presenters’ home.

The new series kicks off at 9.15pm on Sunday.
