Who has been nominated in the 2020 Chortle Awards?
Jonny Pelham, Jessica Fostekew, and Catherine Cohen are all double nominees in this year’s Chortle Awards.
They have all been shortlisted for best show alongside Edinburgh Comedy Award winner Jordan Brookes and double-act Max & Ivan for their offering, Commitment.
Pelham and Fostekew were previously nominated for both best breakthrough act – while Cohen racked up a nomination in the music and variety category.
Ian Smith is also a double nominee, for best compere and in the internet category for his videos 100 Reasons To Hate.
The nominees also include big names such as Ben Elton, Frank Skinner, Bob Mortimer, Greg Davies, Katherine Ryan, Romesh Ranganathan and Tom Allen
Shortlists were drawn up by a panel of independent comedy industry figures, and the winners will be decided by a vote among Chortle readers.
