With guest judges for series 4

Comedy Central has renewed  Roast Battle for a fourth series.

But Jonathan Ross is standing down as judge to be replaced by a guest each episode, with Richard Ayoade, Big Narstie, Sara Pascoe, Noel Fielding and Joe Lycett all lined up to take the job.

Jimmy Carr will continue to host the series with Katherine Ryan as the regular judge.

Comedy Central’s Louise Holmes said: ‘Series 4 will see the sharpest comedians on the circuit battle each other – with every jaw-dropping moment up for delightful scrutiny by our iconic judges.’

Roast Battle has been a hit for Comedy Central UK, with the first series being the highest-rated UK commission in its history. 

The new series, made by Fulwell 73 and Ideasatron, will air in early 2020 on Comedy Central UK.
