Starring alongside Russell Brand in Kenneth Branagh movie

Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders have joined the cast of the new Death On The Nile movie.

They join previously announced stars including Tom Bateman, Annette Bening, Russell Brand and Gal Gadot.

Kenneth Branagh is directing as well as reviving the role of Hercule Poirot that he first played in Murder On The Orient Express two years ago, a movie which he also helmed. 

The cast also includes Rose Leslie, Emma Mackey, Sophie Okonedo, Ali Fazal,  Armie Hammer and Letitia Wright.

Filming started today  at Longcross Studios in Surrey  and on location in Egypt. 

Its release date is scheduled to be October 9,  next year.
