Alan Carr announces a second series

Alan Carr’s Sky One panel show There's Something About Movies is to return for a second series, the comic has announced. 

The comic wrote on Twitter that he loved working on the show, and added: ’It’s coming back for series 2 later this year.’

The first run of six episodes - featuring team captains Micky Flanagan and Michael Sheen – has just ended , with guests including Jimmy Carr,  Jennifer Saunders, Lily Collins, Rupert Everett and Katherine Ryan.

When the show first launched, Sky executive Phil Edgar-Jones, said: ‘We are somewhere over the rainbow with excitement to have Alan Carr taking a leading role in There's Something About Movies... we aim to do for films what A League Of Their Own has done for sport – make it funny.’
