Les Dennis to play another washed-up character
Les Dennis is to play a washed-up psychic in a new comedy movie.
Filming started yesterday on Sideshow which also stars Anthony Head, April Pearson and Nathan Clarke.
According to ScreenDaily, the darkly funny story follows two criminals who, get more than they bargained for when they break into the home of the medium.
The black comedy is written and directed by Adam Oldroyd, who is making his feature film debut. It is being shot in Glamorganshire and the South West of England.
Dennis played a washed-up version of himself in Ricky Gervais's Extras and a washed-up comedian in the last year's stage play End Of The Pier. He also played a working-men’s club comedian on his uppers at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2012.
