Duo discuss guests' favourite foods

James Acaster and Ed Gamble are to launch a new food-based podcast.

Off Menu, which starts next week, will feature guests including Grace Dent, Scroobius Pip, Joel Dommett and Richard Osman speaking about their ideal meal.

‘We ask guests to choose their favourite ever starter, main course, dessert, side dish, drink in our dream restaurant where I am the genie waiter,’ Acaster says. ‘Everyone loves food, everyone loves recalling their favourite ever meals.’

Gamble adds: ’I think it’s so good, we’re going to get on Top Of The Pops with this.’

The pair - both regulars on Mock The Week – have previously made a video series called Just Puddings in which Acaster describes sweet treats to diabetic  Gamble.
