LONDON: It’s the Loving Linda comedy gala, in aid of Target Ovarian Cancer and honouring Linda Smith who died from the disease in 2006 at the age of 48. Lining up at the Cambridge Theatre in the West End to pay tribute are the likes of Arthur Smith, Barry Cryer, Bridget Christie, Jan Ravens, Jeremy Hardy, Jo Caulfield, Mark Steel, Mark Thomas, Ruby Wax and many more.
LONDON: The Lost Disc is a new show from one-time Perrier winner Will Adamsdale, Tom Parry and others. A quest for the holy grail of recorded music, it’s described as part gig, part play, part comedy show and an alternative history of popular music, and runs at the Soho Theatre for most of the month. LONDON: Former Mock The Week regular Stewart Francis has announced his retirement from stand-up, hitting the road with his farewell Into The Punset tour. There are three warm-up dates at the Soho Theatre from tonight, then the tour starts in earnest at the Bromsgrove Artrix on Thursday. Here is the full schedule.

HARROGATE: You don’t see Boothby Graffoe about on the circuit much these days, but his bringing his drollery to the Sitting Room Comedy Club at The Empress tonight, as part of a strong line-up that also includes Jenny Collier, Michael Fabbri, and Tom Taylor.
Thursday October 11
HARROGATE: Yes Harrogate again, as David O’Doherty kicks off his latest tour You Have To Laugh, which will wrap up at Birmingham Town Hall on December 6. Click here for all the dates.
