Brexit-inspired show hits the road

Kieran Hodgson has announced a nationwide tour for his new show about Britain’s first EU referendum, ’75.

The show, which mixed 1970s politics with his modern-day disagreements with his mother over Brexit, earned him his third Edinburgh Comedy Award nomination at this year’s Fringe.

It will hit the road in the spring, following a residency at London’s Soho Theatre for most of January; kicking off in Lancaster on March 8 and culminating back in London for a performance at the Southbank Centre on May 28. Click here for all the dates.

As well as his live work, Hodgson starts in the BBC Two sitcom Two Doors Down alongside Arabella Weir and Doon Mackichan, which is currently filming its fourth series in Glasgow. He also made his own  Channel Four Blap, God’s Own County, which was released this summer.

He also has possible shows  in development for Sky One and Channel 4.

A couple of the dates are on sale now, but all will be available from 1pm tomorrow.
