Armstrong & Miller reunite

For an ITV tribute gig for Prince Charles

Comedy duo Armstrong and Miller are reuniting.

The pair will reform their partnership to host We Are Most Amused And Amazed, an ITV entertainment special to mark Prince Charles’s 70th birthday,

The show is being staged at The London Palladium on October 22 for future broadcast.

Rowan Atkinson, Bill Bailey, Omid Djalili and magicians Penn & Teller and Dynamo will all be on the bill

The last time Atkinson appeared in front of the Prince of Wales was six years ago, when he revived  Blackadder as an immoral banker for the We Are Most Amused benefit show at London’s Royal Albert Hall.

Alexander Armstrong and Ben Miller have rarely appeared together since their tour in 2010– the same year that their BBC sketch series ended – save for a series of adverts for Spitfire beer in the guise of their RAF pilots.

Miller stars in Johnny English Strikes Again, which is out this week, while Armstrong is now probably best known as host of BBC One’s Pointless.

Tickets for We Are Most Amused And Amazed are available here, priced £45.50 to £159.50. The gig is in aid of  The Prince’s Trust.
