2018 Scottish Comedy Award winners revealed

Frankie Boyle, Limmy and Armando Iannucci among them

Frankie Boyle, Limmy and Armando Iannucci were among the winners at the Scottish Comedy Award last night.

But scooping them all with two gongs apiece were stand-up Ray Bradshaw and Glasgow comedy night Chunks.

Bradshaw won awards for outstanding achievement and for best solo show for Deaf Comedy Fam, which he performed in sign language, as well as speaking the words.

Chunks was named best comedy night, while its Glasgow Comedy Festival venture, Chunkstival was named event of the year.

Karen Koren of the Gilded Balloon won the lifetime achievement, 32 years after setting up the Edinburgh institution

Best Online: Limmy’s Twitter
