Patton Oswalt has cancelled his upcoming shows in Galway and London.
The US comic had been due to play the the Forum in Kentish Town, North London, on October 25 and Vodafone Comedy Carnival in Ireland on October 29 and 30.
Patton told his 4.13 million Twitter followers: ‘My work schedule got crazy and I had to postpone my London & Galway shows. They WILL be re-scheduled. I'm very sorry…’
Organisers of the Galways festival the clash was due to TV filming, saying: ‘Due to production conflict in Los Angeles Patton Oswalt has to regretfully cancel his shows in Galway.’
They say they are trying to re-schedule the shows for next year’s festival or sooner if his schedule allows.
Oswalt has an upcoming NBC sitcom, A.P. Bio, in which he plays high school principal alongside It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia actor Glenn Howerton, who plays a lazy biology teacher.
His previous credits include Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, King Of Queens and Ratatouille.
Full refunds are available from the point of purchase for the cancelled shows.
