SIMPSONS and Spinal Tap star Harry Shearer is developing a half-hour weekly animated satire show about Donald Trump’s time in the White House, entitled Too Soon? He has released this teaser and is currently hawking the idea around broadcasters:

THE Backchat Live evening in which Jack and Michael Whitehall interviewed Michael McIntyre, Holly Willoughby and TV Dragon Peter Jones, has raised £40,000 for charity. The event at London’s New Wimbledon Theatre last week was in aid of The Oak Centre for Children and Young People and The Anthony Nolan Trust

NOT GOING OUT’s Katy Wix, Edinburgh Comedy Award-winners Richard Gadd and Adam Riches and comedy actor Will Andrews are among the comedians who will be making cameo appearances in alternative comedy panto Ricky Whittington, it will be announced soon. The show, which runs in London’s New Diorama Theatre from December 12 to January 7, has been written by Liam Williams and Daran Johnson.

THE BBC has announced that the Citizen Khan Christmas special will air on BBC One on Friday December 23 at 8:30pm
