There are hidden camera shows everywhere now, but the wit that goes into these set-ups mean it’s not all about humiliation. There are some duds, but the hit rate is high. Available on All 4.

Chewin’ The Fat

As Still Game returns to the BBC in a very high-profile slot, this is where it all began. Season one of the sketch show from 1999 is now on Netflix with Ford Kiernan, Greg Hemphill, Paul Riley, Mark Cox and Karen Dunbar. Watch here

Kathcast

If you only know Katy Wix from her work on mainstream sitcoms like Not Going Out, you may be in for a rude awakening with her new podcasts, trippy surreal affairs. Kathcast is a peculiar, disconcerting stream of consciousness, often themed around Babestation. There are two episodes here/
