With Foregone Conclusion

Ricky Gervais has announced two more music gigs as David Brent.

He and band Foregone Conclusion are to play the Bournemouth International Centre on December 15 and  Brighton Centre the following nights.

They follow two gigs at London’s Eventim Apollo in September, where 6,500 tickets sold out in ten minutes. Read our review here.

Gervais said: ‘Gigging as David Brent is literally one of the most fun things I’ve ever done and even though I’m in character it’s still an incredible and overwhelming feeling to have thousands of people sing along to every song.’

The band’s album, released off the back of the new David Brent movie,  made No 3 in the charts when released in August, but is now out of the top 100. Tracks included Equality Street and Lady Gypsy.

Tickets for the new shows go on sale at 10am on Saturday.
