CHANNEL 4's Gogglebox has paid tribute to Caroline Aherne, dedicating Wednesday night's show to the comedian who died last month aged 52. The show, which she previously narrated, played out with the theme song to The Royle Family, Half The World Away by Oasis, as the caption came up: 'In loving memory of Caroline Aherne.

SANDI TOKSVIG is to return to Fifteen To One, as Channel 4 has ordered the seventh and eighth series of the revived daytime quiz show, comprising a total of 100 episodes. The comedian also takes over from Stephen Fry as the host of the new series of QI when it returns later this year.

THE Nottingham Comedy Festival has released its programme of more than 100 shows taking place in the city from November 4 to 12. EMILIA FOX hs joined the cast of Dawn French's new Sky 1 drama Delicious. The Silent Witness actress will play a love rival to French's culinary expert in the programme, which is set around a Cornish hotel. Game of Thrones actor Iain Glen plays the chef at the other corner of the love triangle, while Sheila Hancock has also joined the cast.
