New tour dates for Reeves and Mortimer

Shows rescheduled after Bob's heart op

Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer have announced a new batch of shows in their Poignant Moment tour.

The 13 new gigs are the rescheduled dates for gigs cancelled when Mortimer underwent unexpected heart surgery last year.

Tickets for the shows – starting at Glasgow's Clyde Auditorium on November 29 and ending at the Liverpool Echo Arena on December 16 – have just gone on sale. Click here for dates and ticket links, as well as our original review.

The dates were originally scheduled for October and November last year, but were pulled with just a few days notice after consultants told Mortimer he had to have a triple heart bypass.

His health scare came 'out of the blue' after having a check-up for what he thought was a chest infection ahead of the tour. But at a press conference earlier this year, the 56-year-old said he was 'fitter than before', although he does have to wear a heart monitor on stage now.

The tour marks 25 years since their partnership, which started in a South London pub, exploded on to TV though Vic Reeves Big Night Out on Channel 4. It is the first time they have performed live since 1994.
