Richardson said: 'It's always a great treat to come up to Bath, and all the more so to get to see Redtop on the big screen in such a beautiful cinema.'
Comedy historian Jem Roberts, who will be conducting an interview with Richardson at the event, added: 'Redtop is inspired by Boogie Nights, so it will be a real treat to see it in a proper cinema.
'Also, the idea of seeing Bad News or Mr Jolly Lives Next Door on the big screen was one of the chief reasons for inventing The Bath Plug Award in the first place, so we're all extremely pleased that Peter is making the trip up to Bath to allow us a wallow in over 30 years of comedy brilliance.'
The Comic Strip Presents: Live In Bath begins at the Little Theatre Cinema, Bath at 4.30pm on Sunday April 3.
