Rom to roam again
Romesh Ranganathan is to make a second travel series for the BBC, it has been reported.
Trade magazine Broadcast says BBC Three is to commission another run of Asian Provocateur – although his destination has yet to be confirmed.
In the first, which aired from September, the comic went to Sri Lanka to discover his cultural heritage – but he turned out to be a very anglicised fish out of water. Meanwhile, his mother Shanthi, kept a watch on him from her home in the UK.
The six-part series averaged 2million viewers, when consolidated iPlayer views are counted.
