Comics bring classical music to life
Nikki Stone and Doc Brown are to help bring classical music to life in a new film for BBC Two
Ten Pieces II is described as 'an exciting and immersive family film that mixes a star-studded cast with magical animation, live action and stunning close-up performance'.
It follows the success of the first Ten Pieces film last year.
Other presenters include Christopher Eccleston, Pixie Lott and James May, while the music is performed by the BBC Philharmonic, among others.
Stories weave around the music, embracing stormy seas, motorways, a nightclub, a football pitch and a church.
The film has already been shown in cinemas nationwide and will transmit on TV for the first time as pat of BBC Two's Christmas schedules.
Stone is also appearing in panto this year, in Dick Whittington at Theatre Severn, Shrewsbury until January 10.
