Kitson's Polyphony to play Edinburgh
Daniel Kitson is returning to the Edinburgh Fringe. Although his show Polyphony is not yet on the official website, it will be performed at the in-the-round Roundabout venue in Summerhall during the festival, it has been announced today. Tickets are expected on sale on Thursday. Here is our review of the show from Melbourne
THE first finalists in this year's Chortle Student Comedy Award were named last night. They are Cillein Farrell, who studies at Trinity College Dublin, Joe Bowley (Warwick), Andy Field (Brunel) and Stuart McPherson (Dundee). A CROWDFUNDING campaign to back a documentary about late US comedian Patrice O'Neal has surpassed its $125,000 target. The producers of Better Than You include O'Neil's former partner Von DeCarlo and manager Jason Steinberg.
