From Worst Week of My Life writers

Ben Miller is to star in a new comedy series from the creators of The Worst Week of My Life.

In the BBC One series, I Want My Wife Back, Miller plays a nice guy called Murray whose wife Bex walks out on their marriage on her 40th birthday, at her surprise party

The six-part show has been Mark Bussell and Justin Sbresni who joked: ‘We are looking forward to consciously recoupling with Ben Miller.’

The BBC’s head of comedy commissioning, Shane Allen, said: ‘We’re so lucky to see this winning writing and performing combo reunited on BBC One. Mark and Justin are masters of the comic scenario and Ben Miller is never anything short of hilarious.’

The show is a co-production between Mainstreet Pictures and Busby Productions and has been commissioned by the BBC’s Chris Sussman.
