Nick Frost, jewel thief
In new US sitcom
Nick Frost is set to star in a US sitcom – as a leading jewel thief trying to quit his life of crime.
His character in The Finger – which has just been picked up by the ABC network – wants to open a sandwich shop and look after his nine-year-old son, Hollywood website Deadline reports./p>
Frost is scripting the show, too, along with Modern Family writer Ben Karlin. No other details of the ABC deal are forthcoming.
Earlier this year Frost spoke of how he wanted to make a movie set in the world of wrestling.
The Hot Fuzz and Cuban Fury star appeared in a pilot for the Fox network, Sober Companion, earlier this year, but there has been no news on that being picked up.
