PHILL JUPITUS is to join John Lloyd as co-host of the next series of Radio 4’s The Museum of Curiosity, taking over from Humphrey Ker. Other comics who have previously taken the curator’s role include Bill Bailey, Sean Lock, Jimmy Carr and Jon Richardson.

LLOYD LANGFORD and Jon Richardson are set to play flatmates in a new Radio 4 comedy. A pilot episode of Friends On Benefits, written by Langford, is to be recorded in front of a studio audience in London on June 8. free tickets page to be in the audience.

THE West End musical version of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, starring Rufus Hound and Robert Lindsay, is extending its run at the Savoy Theatre to March 7 next year. It was originally scheduled to end in November.

JOHN BISHOP is to be made an honorary fellow at Liverpool John Moores University for his ‘contribution to the arts and the promotion of social causes’.

THE LARMER TREE festival, which takes place near Salisbury over the weekend on July 16-20, has announced its comedy line-up, headed by Lee Nelson, Mark Watson, Chris Ramsey and Paul Foot. The musical bill is be headlined by Tom Jones.
