THE reunion of sketch group Absolutely for Radio 4's Sketchorama strand has scooped the prize for best scripted comedy with a studio audience at the BBC Audio Drama Awards 2014. Stars Pete Baikie, Gordon Kennedy, Morwenna Banks, Moray Hunter were joined by host Thom Tuck and producer Gus Beattie to pick up the award. Meanwhile Love And Sweets 3: Grand Canyon by Richard Marsh took the award for best scripted comedy-drama. Absolutely's Sketchorama is to be repeated on February 10 at 11pm.

ITV sitcom Vicious is to be exported to the States. Broadcaster PBS – which is enjoying ratings success with fellow UK imports Downton Abbey and Sherlock – has snapped up the six-episode first series, starring Sir Ian McKellen and Derek Jacobi, which it will air from July 6. The sale comes as Sir Ian is wowing Broadway in both Samuel Beckett's Waiting For Godot and Harold Pinter's No Man's Land.
