Line-ups for new series announced

The BBC has confirmed the line-up for the ninth series of Live At The Apollo.

The show returns to BBC One next month with six new episodes, each featuring three stand-ups – with established stars such as Eddie Izzard alongside up-and-coming acts like Romesh Ranganathan performing at the 3,500-seat Hammersmith Apollo in West London.

Transmission details have not yet been released, but the schedule is:

Episode 1: Eddie Izzard introduces Josh Widdicombe and Trevor Noah
Episode 2: Jack Dee introduces Seann Walsh and Milton Jones
Episode 3: Sean Lock introduces Romesh Ranganathan and Marcus Brigstocke
Episode 4: Adam Hills introduces Andi Osho and Terry Alderton
Episode 5: Jack Whitehall introduces Katherine Ryan and Rich Hall
Episode 6: Nina Conti introduces Rob Beckett and Jimeoin
