3.1million see The Wrong Mans
THE WRONG MANS, starring James Corden and Matthew Baynton, got off to a strong start in the ratings last night, attracting 3.08million viewers to BBC Two at 9pm – more than a million more than the slot average. Sarah Millican's Television Programme, which was on immediately afterwards, returned with 1.73m (7.9%) at 9.30pm.

FORMER Busted star and I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! winner Matt Willis has joined the cast of Birds of a Feather. He will play Garthy, the older son of Linda Robson’s character Tracey, when the sitcom returns to ITV in the spring – 15 years after it was axed by the BBC.
HBO has brought the rights to Emily Mortimer’s new comedy Doll & Em – in which she stars alongside her her real-life best friend Dolly Wells as fictional versions of themselves living in Los Angeles. The six-part series has been made for Sky Living, where it will air later this year, with HBO acquiring the American and Canadian rights.
OMID DJALILI is to host the opening gala of Bristol’s Slapstick festival of silent and vintage comedy next year. The event, on January 24, will also feature a screening of Charlie Chaplin's City Lights with a 39-piece orchestra, in honour of the centenary of the Little Tramp character.
