ITV orders B&B comedy

From one of Stella's writers

ITV has commissioned a new comedy series set in a Margate B&B.

Six hour-long episodes of Edge of Heaven have been ordered from Hartswood Films, makers of Sherlock and Men Behaving Badly.

It has been created by Robert Evans, who wrote episodes of Sky’s Stella, and stars Camille Coduri – who played Rose’s mother Jackie in D Who – and Nitin Kundra, aka ‘Indian Keith’ in Celebrity Juice

Inbetweeners actor Blake Harrison and sketch comedian Laura Checkley, from the Checkley Bush double act, will have recurring roles.

The show goes into production in August, trade magazine Broadcast reports
