...with Corrie star Julie Goodyear

Julian Clary is planning to create a sitcom set in a gay bed and breakfast, along with former Coronation Street star Julie Goodyear.

The pair came up with the idea during their stay in the Celebrity Big Brother house this summer.

Now Clary says: ‘There is talk of a sitcom based in the gay Bed and Breakfast called the White Swallow which seems a good idea to me.

‘[Julie Goodyear] is very funny and has great comic timing. So I think my people are talking to her people.’

He has previously said of the Bet Lynch actress: ‘Julie has great comic timing... I can see a sitcom with us in, an odd couple sitcom.’

Clary is currently touring the UK with his stand-up show Position Vacant, Apply Within.
