Pull the other one...
Michael McIntyre has ended a gig on crutches after one of his physical gags went awry.
The comic hurt himself as he tried to mimic England goalkeeper Joe Hart’s attempt to save Andrea Pirlo's penalty in the Euro 2012 clash with Italy.
After landing badly, he called an called an early interval to the work-in-progress show at Cork Opera House.
When he returned, he was on crutches and performed the rest of the show sitting down.
He told the audience: 'You’re all entitled to your money back. Don’t mind me. I am very rich. This is not the show you paid for — unless you enjoy casualty waiting rooms.'
Opera House boss Mary Hickson called McIntyre a 'trooper' for carrying on despite he pain.
McIntyre came under fire this week for charging £31 for work in progress shows at the Edinburgh Fringe
