Another Saturday night slot

Paddy McGuinness is to host a new ITV panel show, cementing his role as the channel’s Mr Saturday Night.

The Take Me Out host Paddy McGuinness is to chair Mad Mad World, which will also feature Rufus Hound and Rhys Darby as team captains.

Celebrity guests will join the show each Saturday to answer questions about news stories from around the world.

McGuinness told The Sun: ‘Lots of laughter and a bit of light-hearted education about the world and its inhabitants. All this and I get to sit down while I host. It's a win-win.’

The show – a rare excursion into panel shows on the main ITV channel following the success of Celebrity Juice on ITV2 – will go out later this year.
