Harry tipped for British Comedy Awards

Harry Hill is favourite to triumph over Michael McIntyre in the two British Comedy Awards in which they go head-to-head.

But if the bookies' predictions are right, it will be Outnumbered's night, as the BBC sitcom is favourite in all its four categories: best sitcom, best actress for Claire Skinner and best male and female newcomer for the children.

According to bookmakers Boylesports, Hill is 1/2 favourite to win best TV entertainment personality over Michael McInytre at 12/5; with Hill's TV Burp at the same odds in the comedy entertainment programme category, in which Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow is 11/4.

But McInyre is favourite to be named best stand-up over Stewart Lee and Frankie Boyle.
